Ostra / Native macOS browser
Your worlds.
One window.
Every account, client, and project deserves its own space. Bring your web apps together with isolated workspaces and pages side by side.
Free. No Ostra account. No subscription.
Available on the Mac App Store · macOS 14 or later
Built around the way you work
Give the web some room.
Separate accounts. Stay in context.
Create a workspace for each client, business, project, or community. Separate website sessions let you stay signed in to different accounts on the same service. Pinned apps can have their own account context, too.
Arrange your view.
Split horizontally or vertically, nest panes, and move tabs between them. Zoom into a page, restore your layout, or detach a pane into another window.
Make yourself at home.
Pin and group your everyday apps. Keep bookmarks and history close, open private windows, and choose a download folder for each workspace.
Made for your Mac.
Built with SwiftUI, AppKit, and WebKit. Native sharing, printing, and file pickers meet the P.Industries black-and-green appearance, customizable colors, and motion controls.
A little more control.
Optional Developer Mode adds familiar Vim and tmux navigation commands. A separately enabled local API supports workspace automation, real-time events, and opt-in console forwarding.
Your workspace stays yours.
No Ostra login is required. Workspace settings and browsing records live on your Mac. Website accounts and third-party services remain separate.
